When did the 80’s cycle back around? My daughter’s outfits look like she stepped out of a Winter JCPenny’s catalog from that decade. So naturally she needed some leg warmers!
She had out grown a lot of her cute tights that I was partial to, so I made them into leg warmers. It was seriously easy.
I cut the feet off and the tops off. That is all! They have went through the wash just fine too. I am sure you could sew the top and bottom to ensure longevity, but when I get the sewing machine out it does not end well for the machine. I come just short of the scene in Office Space with the baseball bat and the printer.
Anyhow. Here is my favorite pair. 
Here she is getting her eye exam. 🙂 She loves to mix her stripes!
