Today over on the Women Living in Faith podcast, Gretchen and I discuss the topic of deception.
As Christian, we are often deceived in believing that the conflicts we get caught up in are struggles with the people or situations in our life. This is so not the truth. In Ephesians 6:12, Paul tells the early church, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (ESV)
It is essential that we know who the enemy is and that we aware of his tactics. What is even more important is that we develop a relationship with the LORD that we can recognize His voice during the battle and act in obedience to His commands. Ephesians chapter six gives us a plan on how to do this.
