Since starting my new job, I have found very little time or energy to write or read. At the end of the day, I am spent. All I want to do is plop down in my writing nook and plug into Netflix to continue whatever marathon I happen to be enjoying. Currently, I am in the middle of Call the Midwife for the second time.

A Visit from The Tightly Wound Woman
One of the unexpected joys of blogging has been the online friendships I have developed! It is so neat to be a part of an online community of writers who all strive to glorify the Father through their writing. One of my peers, Katie Reid, was the first to make me feel like I belonged. We meet through Five Minute Friday. She sought me out through Twitter to be apart of her Psalms Series last spring and then again on her Open Hearts Series. She helped me find my confidence as a blogger.
The Chance Encounter that Changed My Attitude
It was the WORST DAY EVER! I had a flat, and I had to use my vacation day to get it fixed at the dealership. Yeah, I felt you cringe with me, sister! I know you know my pain!
Good Community Heals
As I continue on my #52lattes journey, let me introduce to you to gals I do life with. There are actually about 12 of us who meet faithfully every Thursday night to encourage each other and to dive into the word. We try to find time throughout the week to touch base with each other. It is a beautiful thing to see all the relationships built within our group.
A Cord of Three Strands
So I am starting out on my grand adventure of #52lattes. It is a journey of sharing my life and learning from others one cup at a time. The idea is that I will give you insight to the intimate conversations that I have over coffee with friends, family, mentors, and even complete strangers. I will try to do this once a week over the course of a year, hence the 52.
The Best Yes {100th Post, Next Phase of the Blog, and Giveaway}
This is my 100th post on Coffee With Jen! I can’t believe that it has been one year ago this month that you and I have had our first cup together! I feel that I have grown so much on this journey. You have graciously allowed me to find my voice here. Thank you, friend, for listening to my heart and encouraging me.
